There are so many great beauty benefits from using organic coconut oil. The oil does wonders for the body externally, as well as internally. You could literally use it all over your body, from head to toe! I will usually buy two jars at a time; one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom. Some of my favorite uses for coconut oil are for my hair and skin. For hair use, I put some oil on my fingers and massage it on the ends of my damp hair. You can also apply the oil all throughout your hair and then wash it out, similar to a leave in conditioner.

For skin use, I found it most beneficial to apply it all over my body right after taking a shower. It also works really great as a makeup remover! If you are experiencing excessive dryness on your face, I would recommend using the oil as a nighttime moisturizer.

Last but not least, eating a tablespoon of coconut oil gives your immune system a boost, regulates blood sugar levels, helps your body absorb nutrients, helps promote weight loss and it’s great for your heart!
